Description
Product design — Byredo’s pressbox for the Bibliophilia campaign. The work centered on functional innovation — exploring opening mechanism, and user interaction — while ensuring the design aligned with the brand’s signature aesthetic.
The process began with exploring ideas for a pressbox that hides an eyeshadow palette like a secret book. We sketched concepts and made quick paper models to define the opening mechanism, proportions, and overall form. Prototypes in cardboard and wood helped test durability, tactile experience, and the surprise reveal. Material choices were key—selecting finishes and textures that balance elegance, sturdiness, and the playful sense of discovery.
